Xcel Energy Center Parking – At the Venue

Parking at the Xcel Energy Center often requires you to arrive there early in order to secure your spot. For those lucky few who can get there early, the Xcel Energy Center has two parking ramps connected to the venue for easy convenience: Kellogg and RiverCentre. Both are convenient options, and we’ll dive into why that is down below.

Kellogg Parking Ramp near Xcel Energy Center

Xcel Energy Center parking is made easy when you’re as close to the venue as can be. In that sense, the Kellogg parking ramp is the place to be, as it is located quite literally at the venue and is a fully-serviced parking ramp that accepts most major credit cards. Talk about easy.

RiverCentre Parking Ramp near Xcel Energy Center

RiverCentre is the name of the parking ramp that is directly across the street from the Xcel Energy Center. In addition to being fully serviced, the lot is connected to the venue via skyway so that you can stay warm even when the weather in Minnesota wind is anything but lovely.

Xcel Energy Parking – Near the Venue

Nearby Xcel Energy Center Parking spots are around every corner in Downtown Saint Paul. It’s not so much a matter of finding a spot as it is in finding the best spot. Thankfully, the Xcel Energy Center has partnered with ParkWhiz to allow for advance reservations at these ramps and lots, which guarantees you a parking spot at that location ahead of time. We highly recommend this, as you’ll save yourself both a huge amount time and worry if you simply book Xcel Center parking through Parkwiz.

Should you not use ParkWhiz, here’s some additional parking spots that are nearby the Xcel Energy arena.

Do keep in mind, however, that these parking ramps and lots are third-party vendors and, therefore, may have separate policies pertaining to payment. Some might accept card while smaller lots may be cash only. That’s why we recommend you simply go through ParkWhiz to avoid the headache and heartbreak!

Rideshare Locations at the Xcel Energy Center

The Xcel Energy Center makes ridesharing easy, with several drop-off and pick-up locations for visitors using Uber, Lyft, or any other rideshare services. Gate 4—at the northeast corner of the venue (see map)—has been set up as the go-to spot for all ridesharing, near the Michelob Golden Light Taphouse. In addition to this, most major ridesharing apps allow you to reserve your ride well ahead of time so that you can avoid the hectic crowds in the aftermath of the event.

Public Transportation to the Xcel Energy Center

Saint Paul has options when it comes to public transportation to the Xcel Energy Center. The green line, which is a light rail, takes you directly into the Central station in St. Paul, which is then a mere four blocks from the stadium.

And then there are bus routes, which crisscross the metro.
