TD Garden Parking – At the Venue

For TD Garden parking that puts you right next to the venue, you’ll want to look at the North Station Garage, which connects you to the main concourse at the North Station commuter rail. TD Garden recommends this garage and offers a flat rate of $60 for guests who arrive 3 hours early to the scheduled event time. Schedule ahead and skip the hassle.

TD Garden Parking – Near the Venue

TD Garden has partnered with SpotHero to connect people with the best parking spaces near the venue. On this app, you can check out and reserve your parking spot well in advance and avoid much of the stress of trying to procure a spot on the day of the event.

While SpotHero is certainly a wonderful resource for you to keep in mind, we’ve also made note of the best locations for TD Garden parking that take into account both price and distance to the Garden. These options, which require some walking, will save you money compared to parking at the North Station Garage.

Rideshare/Taxi

The designated area for rideshare pickup and dropoff for applications is on Causeway Street, across from the West Entrance of the arena. Should you be using one of the more popular apps, such as Uber or Lyft, you’ll want to set “10 Causeway St, Boston, MA 02114” as your drop off or pick up location.

*Do note, however, that this location can change depending on event or even time of day.

Bicycle Parking

Luckily, there are several bike racks located throughout the North Station area, which is the neighborhood nearest to the TD Garden. In addition to this, some of these racks can be spotted along on Causeway Street, which is the very street that TD Garden is located on. There are also reports that there are bicycle racks to the West and East side of TD Garden for visitors to secure their bicycles while attending an event at the TD Garden.

Public Transportation to TD Garden

TD Garden parking out of the picture? No worries, as we’ll list out some of the most popular public transit for arriving at the TD Garden, this might not work for everyone. If that’s you, then you’ll want to check out the MBTA website that allows you to view subway maps, commuter rail fares, and scheduling. They’ve also got an immensely helpful Trip Planner feature that makes planning your trip easy.

MBTA Transit Passageway

The underground MBTA transit passageway provides direct access to the TD Garden by entering the passageway at North Station and then following the posted signs to the TD Garden or “Causeway Street,” which will then lead visitors across from the Garden.

Red Line

Unfortunately, the Red Line does not go directly to TD Garden. However, it will take you to the Park Street stop which will then allow you to transfer over to Green Line Eastbound for three stops until you arrive at the North Station where you’ll find both an East and West entrance to the TD Garden.

Blue Line

Similar to the Red Line, The Blue Line does not go directly to North Station, but it will get you close. Take the line to the Government Center stop and then switch on over to the Green Line that runs Eastbound and wait two stops until you arrive at North Station.

Green & Orange Lines

If you’re taking either the Green or Orange Line to the TD Garden, you’ll simply follow a route until you reach the North Station, which will then give you access to the Garden via its East and West entrances.
