Lenovo Center

Since its grand opening in October 1999, the arena now known as the Lenovo Center has been a cornerstone of Raleigh’s sports and entertainment landscape. Originally christened the Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena, it has undergone several name changes over the years, reflecting its evolving identity and partnerships.​

In September 2024, the venue embraced a new era, adopting the name Lenovo Center following a 10-year naming rights agreement with Lenovo, a major technology company with deep roots in North Carolina. This partnership not only signifies Lenovo’s commitment to the region but also heralds a series of technological enhancements and renovations aimed at elevating the fan experience.

Home to the Carolina Hurricanes and NC State Wolfpack

The Lenovo Center proudly serves as the home arena for the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL and the NC State Wolfpack men’s basketball team. Over the years, it has been the backdrop for numerous memorable moments, including the Hurricanes’ triumphant Stanley Cup victory in 2006

Beyond sports, the Lenovo Center has established itself as a premier venue for a diverse array of events. Annually, it hosts over 150 events, attracting more than 1.5 million guests. From electrifying concerts featuring global superstars to family-friendly shows and major conventions, the arena’s versatile design accommodates a wide range of experiences.

In line with its commitment to providing top-tier experiences, the Lenovo Center is poised for significant renovations. Plans include a $300 million transformation aimed at modernizing the facility, enhancing amenities, and integrating cutting-edge technology throughout the venue.​
